Many homeowners are surprised to learn that garage floor coating durability often comes down to preparation, moisture mitigation, and curing time rather than flashy marketing claims. A Long-Lasting Garage Floor Coating Takes Time
A quality garage floor coating begins with mechanically grinding the concrete to remove weakened material and create the proper surface profile for adhesion.
After surface preparation, a moisture-mitigating epoxy primer helps protect the coating from vapor-related issues beneath the slab. Decorative flakes are then broadcast across the surface for texture and appearance, followed by two UV-resistant polyaspartic clearcoats for durability and easier maintenance.
