• As a site supervisor, for a high-end builder in the north Atlanta area, I’m always looking for top quality subcontractors. During my research I found Garage Floor Coating of Atlanta and had them come out to look at a job I was overseeing. The sales manager came out and measured the job and then worked closely with our designer on the color selections. When the crew showed up to do the installation they were on time and well prepared. The garage floor coating was completed in a couple days as scheduled. The finish product is breathtaking. The color selection goes well with the rest of the project colors. • It’s rare I feel good enough about a company and their workmanship to write a review. Garage Floor Coating of Atlanta did an amazing job on our garage floor. They promised a high level of quality, and they delivered. They were responsive, showed up on time, and did the job right. 100% recommend — no regrets!

  Michael was incredibly helpful and very responsive in getting us set up for the actual work. He answered all our questions fully and helpfully. Skylar and Jose performed the actual floor coating and did a fantastic job. I guess I have higher standards and expectations than a lot of folks when it comes to this kind of work, but GFCA nailed this. I have zero issue or complaint about their work.

  When we did the install, I noticed the smell took a few months to fully dissipate. It wasn’t overpowering, but it lingered a bit more than most people indicate. Part of this is due to the fact that we had the door closed for a bit, and part of this is due to the fact that we are very sensitive to the kinds of odors released during the curing process. Again, Michael was very responsive, and even came out to double check on the floor for us to see if it was indicative of any issue (it was not an issue). I’d qualify the smell from curing as incredibly strong the first couple days, and then a bit unpleasant for about 1-2 weeks. After that, the smell was noticeable for a few months (but not overwhelming or problematic). After a couple months, the smell from curing completely dissipated.

  Our garage floor had been through a lot of abuse over the years, and had some previous “patch work” done by the previous owner involving drywall mud (see the before photos) and cement paint to hide the extent of damage and cracks. Skylar and Jose properly fixed up the floor, leveled it nicely, and even went above and beyond in addressing a slope issue at the garage door threshold. They demonstrated a superior level of attention to detail. They did an excellent job on our floor, getting every nook and cranny. After we had the floor done, we fixed up the rest of the garage and it has turned into one of our favorite spaces!

  It has been about 8 months since our floor was finished and it looks as beautiful as the day it was installed.
